The Dangers of Debt Image Contest was a raging success. There were 147 fabulous submissions. The competition was fierce, but one great cartoon prevailed.

Your contest obviously needs some criteria for measuring merit of the entries rather than just number of vote hits. There’s too many ways to rig results.
This “contest” was nothing more than a who can get the most facebook votes contest. Very disappointed that some of the more original quality pieces were ignored.
Congratulations to the winners for a job well done in getting the message out that Debt is truly dangerous in all its forms.
I like some of the winners entries! But, this whole contest seems more like one huge popularity contest…I’m just so puzzled how in the world someone could get over 4,000 votes and don’t even have any comments on their entry…I don’t think this was done very fairly. Maybe next contest the judging/voting for entries could be stricter. After all, it’s so easy to cheat by getting access to several computers/accounts….
Well, congrats to all the winners.
Seems like this could be stacked in favor of who can round up the most friends to vote. There were lots of excellent cartoons that seem to have been overlooked. For future contests, how about giving everyone ONE vote, and NOT one vote every day?
1st place winner says it all; but was too kind by NOT showing the BIG magnifying glass in that readers hand…….
